
The Indonesia American Games (IAG) is a national multi-sport event that brings together Indonesian communities across the United States to compete, connect, and represent their states through sport.Athletes from cities, campuses, and community organizations gather in one host city to compete across multiple sports—fostering teamwork, pride, and a shared sense of identity.The inaugural Indonesia American Games will take place in Chicago from June 19–21, 2026, marking the beginning of a new national sporting tradition for Indonesians in America.

At the Indonesia American Games, athletes compete not only as individuals, but as representatives of their communities and states.
Participants join state or regional teams, competing alongside fellow Indonesians from across the country in a celebration of sport, teamwork, and friendly rivalry.
Whether representing a campus, a local community, or a regional group, every athlete competes with pride.
Participation in IAG is open to:
• Indonesian students in the United States
• Indonesian diaspora and Indonesian-Americans
• Members of Indonesian community organizations
• Representatives of Indonesian student associations
• Individuals joining a state or regional team
Athletes may compete individually or as part of a team, depending on the sport.
To encourage broad participation, IAG features two divisions:
• Junior Division
Ages 15–17
• Senior Division
Ages 18–35
Athletes compete within their respective divisions based on the sport.

Chicago 2026 will mark the official opening of the Indonesia American Games—a defining moment that brings athletes and communities together on a national stage.
Over three days, competition will unfold across eight sports and multiple venues throughout the city, transforming Chicago into a gathering point of energy, ambition, and shared identity. Each match, each performance, and each moment contributes to a larger narrative—one that celebrates excellence, unity, and the spirit of representation.
